Shannon Curtis is an award-winning, Australian bestselling author who loves to read suspense, paranormal, fantasy, contemporary, cozy mystery, and all things romance, and finds those worlds are also where she likes to set her own stories. She’s a not-so-closet fan of anything Hallmark Movies and Marvel, and loves to watch a good, well-told story unfold on the screen as much as on the page, and has spent many hours on the lounge in her Oodie and nursing a bowl of popcorn – for research, of course.

Growing up, Shannon always wanted to be a writer—but that seemed like a pipe dream. She didn’t actually know any writers, had never encountered one roaming in the wild, and the idea seemed so fanciful, she put it to the side for a while. It wasn’t until she was on maternity leave with her first child that she considered the time as an opportunity to write the stories like the ones she loved to read, and became a published author, with her second manuscript accepted for publication (not her first, because even Shannon will admit that’s … not publishable)—and the rest is mildly interesting history, if that’s what floats your boat.
